Introduction To Gypsy Jazz - Guitar Workshop

  • Opus 1604 5 Rue Verdaine Lutry, VD, 1095 Switzerland (map)

Hosted by the wonderful Opus 1604

In this 2-hour workshop, join us on a trip to France of the 1930s where gypsy jazz - or should we say "jazz manouche" - all began. We can't introduce you to Django Reinhardt himself, but our guest instructor, Zarek Silberschmidt, will inspire you on this journey and feed your enthusiasm to want to dig further into this fascinating musical style.

Date: Saturday 4th May 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Location: Rue Verdaine 5, 1095 Lutry Number of participants: 6 max.
Note: the workshop will be given in English.

Whether you simply know your guitar basics (i.e. can play basic chords or power chords, strumming, picking) or are a more advanced player, there will be plenty to experience & learn for all levels in this intimate workshop.
