2021 - Thats a Wrap

Picking up where we left off, the end of October 2021.

I was asked to contribute as a teacher for the week long jazz workshop in the beautiful mountains of Engelburg Switzerland for the ‘Gymnasium am Münsterplatz’. We had a great time playing in big band ensembles and exploring the mountain tops.

October also has some wonderful concerts!

November brought another first for me, I was asked to speak on ‘The Happy Expats’ Podcast. We had a great time talking about what it means to live in a different country to the one you grew up in, how much culture changes from place to place and what it means to make a new place home. You can listen to the podcast episode here. Thank you, ‘Happy Expat’ team for having me!

Finally, the ended with a bang when two more instruments came into my slowly growing collection, firstly, my new Gibson 335

A massive thanks goes to the wonderful team at ‘Guitar-Repairs’ for helping me to get both of these incredible instruments.

While 2021 was a tough year, all in all it brought many wonderful moments and new experiences. Thank you to everyone whom made it what it was.
