Winter 2023, Travel, Concerts, Music.

Picking up shortly after the end of the last post, the beginning of 2023, I had the immense pleasure of traveling through europe to perform and teach. Some highlights included my travel to Groningen, Holland to perform in trio alongside Ronald Kamphuis and Melvin Koenings.

After Holland, I went south to Altea, Spain, for a week of teaching and performing at the wonderful ‘Guitar Workshop Spain’.

Here are some videos from the final teachers concert which took place on the final day of the workshop. Thank you to the team at ‘Guitar Workshop Spain’, and the fellow tutors, Heiko Bloemers and Sönke Meinen for making this week so special and filled with such fine music.

After leaving Spain I headed north once again to Switzerland and Germany to perform in various formations. These wonderful concerts took me through the winter months, here are some of the highlights.

La Nefera, the incredible power house world music hip hop group, whom I have the great pleasure to perform with from time to time, released two new music videos, both of which I have the distinct privilege of being in. See them below.

Between travel and concerts, I took some time to add to the growing collection of video lessons and performances on my Youtube Channel.

Lastly but certainly not least, and with a certain amount of pride, I announce to you all the release of my Patreon. This is something for those of you whom are interested in learning about playing guitar. It’s a collection of all my learning resources covering topics from licks, arpeggios, techniques to understanding harmony, scales, modes, musical approaches and much more. The video below will give you a more detailed break down. To head over to my patreon directly to see what it can offer you, click here.

Looking back at these wonderful months of music, I couldn’t help but feel like one very fortunate guitar player.

More to come,
Z.
